David started sailing at the age of 17, crewing on an original Hornet with a sliding seat, built a Graduate, then sailed a Fireball at both Sunderland and Ullswater. He joined the Clyde Canoe Club in the early eighty’s with a Flying Fifteen. Having owned three FF’s, currently he sails a GK24 with his wife Eliz.
