It was fantastic to see Loch Lomond Sailing Club so well represented at Scottish Series this year, with members racing on boats in multiple classes and our very own Peter Edmond providing the main committee vessel, Sea Reiver.

Ewan Mackay entered his Dehler 36 into CYCA Class 1 under the Loch Lomond Sailing Club flag and took the class win after a hard fought battle with Valhalla of Ashton, as well as the ‘boat of the day’ for taking line honours in the Inch race across all classes, in a steady force 6 breeze.

Overall series win went to Brian Hall’s J109 Something Else, from Dublin, who won 6 out of 8 races in IRC class 2.

There is a good write up of the event on the Yachts and Yachting Website, here and the full results can be found here.

Well done to everyone who took part.
