Paul started sailing at 6 years old in a moody 33. He moved into dinghy sailing initially in a Mirror at the age of 11 and then International Moths when he was 16, having raced numerous low-riders and foiling boats over the years. Most recently he has been learning to sail his Shadow, a single-handed trapeze asymmetric catamaran .
