About LLSC

Loch Lomond Sailing Club (LLSC) is a family oriented sailing club, with an emphasis on racing and an active social calendar including cruising activities. There are often groups of members staying overnight at the weekends, sometimes having a BBQ on the beach. It is a great place for children, both on and off the water, and being set back from the road behind a locked gate makes it a relaxing private location.

Fresh water sailing on Loch Lomond provides excellent conditions for both Dinghy and Keelboat fleets to race and explore. For more information on our current fleets and club boats, please see the Sailing section.

The clubhouse has a good kitchen and dining space which is available for members to use, as well as a large lounge with a log fire. Although there is no bar, members are free to bring their own drinks to socialise. Pop-up bars can be found at social and open event weekends.

LLSC is a licensed caravan and camping site. Plots are highly sought after and subject to a waiting list for participating members only, although a small number of camping and campervan spaces are available for booking by members and their visitors on a 'per weekend' basis.

The club is run by the members for the members, so there is some expectation on the membership to get involved in maintaining the site and organising events. We try to keep this to a minimum, but getting involved helps to keep membership fees low and is a further opportunity to meet new friends. LLSC is a recognised RYA establishment allowing the chance for club members to further their sailing, powerboat and race management skills.
